A Nine-Year-Old's Gamble
At nine, with some reading foundation, Oscar took an assessment. The principal advised his parents to enroll him in KLC Master Key first to build a solid foundation before starting the Cambridge system. The principal said, "Before building a skyscraper, the foundation must be strong. Since Oscar can be outstanding, why settle for ordinary?" After hearing this, Oscar's mother resolutely let him start from zero. Thus, Oscar officially embarked on the KLC Master Key course, taking a path most thought was slow but actually proved to be fast.
Not aiming to win at the starting line, but striving to win the entire race.
Years of Building the Foundation
After completing Master Key, Oscar entered the Cambridge English system courses. There was no earth-shattering news during these years. There was only quiet accumulation, class after class.
The foundation is the soil of all excellence. You can't see it, but everything will grow from it later.
The First Perfect Score: A2 Key
The perfect score for A2 Key is 150. Oscar got 150. Every testing point, every question type, every grammar and vocabulary challenge—nothing was missed. Those quiet years gave their answer at this moment.
A perfect score is not a product of luck. A perfect score means you left no loopholes.
Consecutive Perfect Scores: B1 Preliminary
B1 is the level representing "Independent User". Oscar passed strongly once again with a perfect score of 170/170. From resetting to zero at age nine to consecutive perfect scores, he walked a steady and clear upward curve.
The first perfect score might be a coincidence. The second is strength and standard.
Advancing to C1: B2 First (Grade A)
Achieving Grade A in the B2 First exam means his performance exceeded the B2 standard, directly reaching the C1 threshold (second only to native speaker level). A door to the world has officially opened.
The door opened, and he was already waiting on the other side.
Finale: IGCSE 9A's and Scholarship
Oscar achieved 9 A's in the IGCSE exams. This is not just a transcript, but the ultimate settlement of eight years of accumulation. At the same time, he was awarded a scholarship from Crescendo. Quietly, he rewrote his destiny.
